Installation Note 41537: SAS® Risk Reporting Repository 1.3 Data Dictionary has incorrect descriptions for PROJECT_DIM columns: BASE_DT, VAL_DT, and PROJECT_OPTION_SET_SK
SAS® Risk Reporting Repository 1.3 Data Dictionary has incorrect descriptions listed in the comment column for the following variables of the PROJECT_DIM table: BASE_DT, VAL_DT, and PROJECT_OPTION_SET_SK. See the tables below for corrected descriptions.
BASE_DT |
Comment currently reads: Date stamp for the risk dimensions rundate value
for the result set in the model. |
Comment should read: Intended for the date stamp for the portfolio and current market situation date. This is used as the base case date of the analysis project. It is the situation snapshot date.
|
VAL_DT |
Comment currently reads: Date stamp for the risk dimensions rundate value
for the result set in the model. |
Comment should read: Date stamp for the date value for when the analysis
project is executed. This value does not have to be the same as the BASE_DT. For example, the analysis project can be executed on January 1, 2010 (VAL_DT) for a situation snapshot of December 1, 2009 (BASE_DT).
|
PROJECT_OPTION_SET_SK |
Comment currently reads: Because source data for PROJECT_DIM might come from
multiple systems, the business supplied keys might not be unique. A surrogate key is added in the
ETL process to ensure a unique identifier for PROJECT_DIM. Used with valid_from_dttm for versioning of rows. |
Comment should read: A surrogate key of a given set of options used by
projects. These options are characteristics of a project that may be shared.
